I was raised in Wenonah, in southern New Jersey. I lived for a number of years in Jersey City and Hoboken, NJ. Over the years I've been a manager for a blood distribution center, managed a senior citizen's lunch program, and sold weightlifting supplies. For most of my life I’ve worked in pest control and at the current time I work with Acme Exterminating in New York City.

As far as background on the writing side: I've been involved with writing poetry seriously since 1978. I've been published in a number of little magazines, primarily Long Shot Magazine. I work with the Geraldine Dodge Foundation in New Jersey as a visiting poet in the schools. For the past five years I’ve been a group leader for the Dodge Foundations “Clearing the Spring/Tending the Fountain seminars for High School teachers. For six years I was the editor of Long Shot Magazine.

I've read my work extensively in New York and New Jersey and was a featured poet in the Distinguished Poets Series for Passaic Community College. I was a featured reader as a “Poet Among Us” at the Waterloo Poetry Festival in Stanhope, NJ in 1988 and again in 1996. My work has been anthologized in Aloud, the anthology of the Nuyorican Poets Café, the Outlaw Poetry Anthology from Thundermouth Press, and most recently Bum Rush the Page.

My book, I Have No Clue, was published by Long Shot in November of 1996.
